Serving The
Transportation Industry

Your trusted partner for cybersecurity,
AI, and standards expertise

Securing the Future of Mobility

A trusted partner in advancing the nation’s transportation systems, TrustThink supports state, local, and federal agencies, OEMs, and ITS device manufacturers as they integrate secure, modern technologies into their operations and products.

We help organizations prepare for connected and automated vehicles (CAV), shape the standards that guide interoperability and safety, and deploy practical solutions grounded in real-world engineering.

ITS Cybersecurity

Strengthening the cybersecurity of your traffic systems, RSUs, and OBUs with guidance rooted in the latest methods and standards shaping connected mobility.

Trusted AI

Verifying your transportation AI models so they perform reliably, withstand adversarial attacks, and can be deployed with confidence.

Trusted Autonomous Systems

Securing your UGVs, robotics, and automated vehicles so they meet industry expectations for safety, reliability, and trusted operation.

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Cybersecurity

Roadway equipment such as traffic signal controllers, RSUs, and OBUs are becoming more connected, creating new security gaps that agencies and vendors must address.

A cyber incident can halt operations, jeopardize safety, and require costly recovery efforts that strain budgets and staff.

TrustThink helps you prevent these outcomes with standards-aligned cybersecurity architectures, technologies, and processes that protect modern roadway systems without slowing deployment.

How TrustThink Helps:

AI Adversarial Test and Evaluation

We help IOOs and vendors evaluate and harden their AI models using adversarial testing to ensure they perform reliably and remain resilient against manipulation in real-world transportation environments.

Building Workforce Capability

We train C-Suite executives to make informed decisions about cybersecurity priorities, and field technicians to implement and maintain secure deployments in practice.

Integrating SCMS Certificates

We guide customers through the process of onboarding devices, managing entitlements, and ensuring interoperability across jurisdictions so that SCMS certificates are not just issued, but effectively used in daily operations.

  • Securing AI Models and Datasets

  • Planning for AI Adoption

Securing AI Models and Datasets

Agencies and OEMs need confidence that AI models for pedestrian detection, traffic monitoring, and roadway analytics can withstand real-world conditions and adversarial threats.

TrustThink evaluates both models and training datasets to uncover risks such as data poisoning, drift, and adversarial inputs.

We provide clear findings and recommendations that help customers strengthen their systems before deployment.

Planning for AI Adoption

State and local transportation agencies are under pressure to integrate AI, but often lack a structured path forward.

To address this, we developed the AI Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).

We now offer half-day and full-day workshops based on this official framework, giving agency leaders a practical roadmap for adopting AI responsibly—balancing innovation with security, trust, and long-term sustainability.Securing AI Models and Datasets

Expanding Beyond ITS

Cybersecurity requirements now extend far beyond traditional automotive manufacturers.

Developers of UGVs, robotics, automated trucks, off-road vehicles, and uncrewed aircraft are increasingly expected to demonstrate that their systems are resilient and meet industry standards before deployment.

Through partnerships such as AUVSI’s Green UAS program, combined with full penetration testing services and deep experience across multiple mobility modalities, TrustThink helps emerging vehicle and robotics developers bring new technologies to market with confidence that their systems are secure, compliant, and ready for adoption.

TrustThink supports these innovators by providing:

Certification Under the AUVSI
Trusted Cyber Framework

As an evaluator for AUVSI’s program, we help UGV and robotics
developers prepare for and achieve certification, ensuring their
platforms can be trusted by customers, partners, and regulators.

Automotive Cybersecurity Compliance

We guide OEMs developing UGVs and other next-generation
platforms in aligning with ISO/SAE 21434 requirements, including
risk assessments, documentation, and security processes for
vehicle type approval and safe market entry.

Our Work in Action

By shaping these standards, TrustThink gives our customers a head start: the systems we help secure and deploy
are already aligned with the international frameworks that will govern tomorrow’s transportation ecosystem.

FHWA Cybersecurity Spotlight

TrustThink contributed to the Federal Highway Administration’s efforts to advance cybersecurity in transportation.
IEEE 1609.2.2

TrustThink served as editor for this international standard, which enables multi-jurisdictional interoperability of Security Credential Management Systems (SCMS). For IOOs, this ensures that certificates from different policy domains can be trusted across borders and agencies. For OEMs, it means their devices and applications can operate securely in diverse environments without requiring custom integrations.

ISO 24315 (METR Cybersecurity)

TrustThink is developing the cybersecurity architecture for the Management of Electronic Traffic Regulations (METR). This work helps agencies ensure that digital traffic regulations can be exchanged securely and reliably, reducing risks of tampering or disruption. For OEMs, it provides a trusted foundation for building vehicles and applications that consume METR data safely.
